DURAN® Original GL 25 laboratory bottle, brown, without screw cap and pouring ring, 25 ml DURAN® Original GL laboratory bottles have been the gold standard for multifunctional laboratory bottles since their introduction in 1972. The bottles are formed from high-purity, clear USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3, known for its excellent thermal performance and high resistance to chemical influences. A combination of high-performance materials and a robust ISO 4796-1 design ensures a long service life. The use of a fused, external brown colour protects light-sensitive materials from the effects of photodegradation. Protection against ultraviolet light complies with the international USP/EP standards and is maintained throughout the entire service life of the bottle. The brown-coloured bottles feature an easy-to-read graduated volume scale and a permanently white enamel labelling area. The permanently printed batch identification (“Retrace Code”) on each bottle guarantees complete traceability of production. DURAN® Original laboratory bottles in brown are supplied with or without the well-known blue polypropylene closure and drip-free pouring ring for use up to 140 °C. All components are fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C.
