DURAN® storage bottle, wide neck, brown, NS 45/40, with glass stopper, 500 ml The classic stopper-sealed reagent bottles are formed from DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 Type 1 glass and are suitable for storing liquid and solid chemicals as well as reagents. The bottles have a wide, conical ground joint and comply with ISO 4796-2. The wider neck is better suited to handling powders. The glass stopper provides excellent sealing, protecting the contents from evaporation, oxidation and contamination. The labelling area and the Retrace Code for manufacturing traceability are printed in permanent white enamel. The brown colouring protects light-sensitive materials from the effects of photodegradation. Protection against ultraviolet light complies with international USP/EP standards and lasts throughout the bottle's service life.
