The apparatus is used to monitor and test the angle of repose of powders or granulates. For determination, the test material is passed through a standardized funnel with an agitator blade. The height of the cone beneath the funnel serves as an indicator of the storage and flow properties of powders. Flowability depends on the surface characteristics, particle size, distribution and moisture. The international standard describes the method for powdered surfactants and washing powder, but is also suitable for other powders. Standard: DIN ISO 4324-1977 (1983-12). Consisting of: Glass funnel (10 mm outlet), stainless steel holder, stainless steel stirrer with crank, special stand with marking, base disc (plastic, Ø 100 mm, 25 mm thick), glass dish (180 mm), distance gauge (100 mm), operating instructions, sample test report. Accessories: Height measuring device, collecting tray (stainless steel), measuring cylinder (250 ml, ISO 4788).
