DURAN® GLS 80® high-temperature pouring ring, PTFE, white White GLS 80® wide-neck screw cap made of PSU (cap seal). The material used is a special composition based on a polyarylsulfone. This significantly improves the chemical, thermal and mechanical properties of the material and adapts them to laboratory requirements. The bottle can be tightly closed using the PTFE seal coated on both sides (sealing disc: platinum-cured silicone). A matching pouring ring made of PTFE is available and allows clean, drip-free work. Special properties and benefits: PSU caps and the ETFE pouring rings offer higher thermal and chemical resistance than comparable components made of polypropylene The additional 30 % glass fibre reinforcement of the PBT resin improves the rigidity, tensile strength and impact strength of the screw cap The screw cap seal with PTFE-coated cap septum ensures efficient sealing The matching pouring ring made of ETFE allows drip-free removal and clean, safe work Application: Autoclaving of media and reagents, preparation of media and reagents, sampling, culture vessel, storage of media and reagents, transport and shipping
