DURAN® pressure plus+ GL 45 laboratory bottle, brown, without screw closure and pouring ring, 500 ml The DURAN® pressure plus+ GL 45 laboratory bottles offer a safer option for laboratory applications involving vacuum or pressure. Standard laboratory glass bottles are not designed to safely withstand pressure differences. Due to a modified geometry, the pressure plus+ bottles have guaranteed pressure resistance and thus offer optimum safety for both the user and the contents. The special geometry still complies with ISO 4796-1:2016 to ensure equipment compatibility. The pressure plus+ bottles are certified according to DIN EN 1595. The bottles are made of high-purity, clear USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3, known for its excellent thermal behaviour and high resistance to chemical influences. The bottles feature an easy-to-read graduated volume scale and a permanently blue enamel marking field. The permanently printed batch identification (“Retrace Code”) on each bottle guarantees complete traceability of production. Special features and benefits: Made of amber-coloured borosilicate glass 3.3 Guaranteed vacuum and pressure resistance from -1 bar to + 1,5 bar due to modified geometry (based on ISO 4796-1) Compliant with USP, USP (spectral transmission) and EP (3.2.1). Less than 10% spectral transmission between 290 and 450 nm. The colour is applied only to the outside, ensuring that the inner surfaces retain the standard DURAN® glass properties Highly resistant, durable coating The special geometry still complies with ISO 4796-1:2016 to ensure instrument compatibility Optimum safety when working under pressure or vacuum Suitable for use under high vacuum Pressure resistance according to DIN EN 1595 Fired-on and therefore permanently durable blue marking for visual distinction from the standard laboratory bottle Application: Storage of light-sensitive materials, vacuum filtration, pressurised sampling, storage of volatile solvents, storage of gas-forming materials
