DURAN® stand bottle, wide neck, brown, NS 24/20, with glass stopper, 50 ml The classic stopper-sealed reagent bottles are formed from DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 Type 1 glass and are suitable for storing liquid and solid chemicals as well as reagents. The bottles have a wide, conical ground joint and comply with ISO 4796-2. The wider neck is better suited to handling powders. The glass stopper provides excellent sealing, protecting the contents against evaporation, oxidation and contamination. The labelling field and the Retrace Code for manufacturing traceability are printed in durable white enamel. The brown colouring protects light-sensitive materials against the effects of photodegradation. Protection against ultraviolet light corresponds to the international USP/EP standards and is maintained throughout the entire service life of the bottle.
