DURAN® storage bottle, wide neck, amber, NS 34/35, with glass stopper, 250 ml The classic reagent bottles that can be closed with a stopper are made of DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 Type 1 glass and are suitable for storing liquid and solid chemicals as well as reagents. The bottles feature a wide, conical ground joint and comply with ISO 4796-2. The wider neck is better suited for handling powders. The glass stopper provides excellent sealing, protecting the contents from evaporation, oxidation and contamination. The labelling area and the Retrace Code for traceability of production are printed in durable white enamel. The amber colouring protects light-sensitive materials from the effects of photodegradation. Protection against ultraviolet light complies with the international USP/EP standards and lasts throughout the entire service life of the bottle.
