- DURAN® filter plate, edge unsealed, Ø 50 mm, porosity 2 Sintering glass powder with a specific particle size distribution produces a porous, solid body. In the form of plates and candles, these bodies are used as filter material.
- Manufactured from DURAN® (borosilicate glass 3.3).
- They are ideally suited for separations involving, for example, strong acids or alkalis and thus offer advantages over other materials such as plastic or paper.
- Available in 6 different porosity classes according to ISO 4796 and ASTM EI28-99.
- Suitable for vacuum filtration with a maximum resulting pressure difference of 1 bar.
- Special properties and advantages: Edge unsealed and centred, surfaces unprocessed Successful work through the correct choice of porosity (The largest pore size should be slightly below the particle size of the smallest particles still to be separated.)
