Resistant The unique double-tube system made of robust quartz glass and wear-resistant ceramic reaches the optimum heating temperature of 900°C (1650°F) after just a few minutes. For heating, the inoculating loop is simply held in the ceramic heating tube. After 5-7 seconds, the inoculating loop is sterilized. An integrated splash guard provides greater safety when handling pathogenic material. Even contamination is not a problem. The ceramic heating tube can be removed from the quartz glass heating element for separate cleaning. Made entirely of stainless steel, the SteriMax also withstands extreme laboratory conditions.
