The bulk density tester is used for the control and testing of powders and various raw materials. The bulk density of powders is difficult to measure because deviations in the method can lead to a change in the results. The bulk material is placed through a distance ring into a measuring beaker with a defined volume, and the mass is then determined by differential weighing. To prevent agglomerates, the sample is sieved beforehand. Complete apparatus (100 ml measuring beaker and distance ring) made of electropolished stainless steel. The clear design enables easy operation and cleaning. Normative reference: USP 616 Method 3, European Pharmacopoeia Ph.Eur 7.0 (2.9.34).
