This measuring device can be used to determine the flow rate and bulk density of metallic powders. Determination of flow rate EN ISO 4490: The time required for 50 g of a metallic powder to flow out of a standardized funnel is determined. EN ISO 3923: The bulk density of metallic powders that flow freely through a nozzle with a 2,5 mm outlet is determined. If flow through the 2,5 mm nozzle is not possible due to the powder properties, a nozzle with a 5 mm outlet may be used. Material: stainless steel V4A = 1.4305, non-magnetic, electropolished, funnel surface high-gloss polished RA <= 0,4.
