This apparatus is used to determine the bulk density of powders (metal powders) under standardized conditions. The test method is based on the funnel method according to DIN-EN-ISO-3923-1 and ASTM B964. The bulk material is poured through a standardized funnel into a collecting container with a defined volume, and the mass is determined by differential weighing. Suitable for powders that flow freely through a 2,5 mm nozzle, as well as for test powders that fit through a 5 mm nozzle. The apparatus consists of high-quality, non-magnetic V4A stainless steel, electropolished and high-gloss polished.
