The UTTD control Life Science Solution package was specially compiled by IKA product experts to overcome the critical challenges in homogenising tissue, cartilage and bone samples: homogeneous comminution of the samples and protection against cross-contamination. The package contains the powerful ULTRA-TURRAX® Tube Drive P control homogenisation system, which was designed for universal use. In combination with the patented disposable DT-20 dispersing containers with a volume of 20 ml and a rotor-stator element, this system ensures optimum sample comminution and fast, uniform homogenisation of the samples. The hermetically sealable disposable sample containers also serve as dispersing vessels, storage units and transport containers. They significantly reduce cleaning effort and systematically prevent cross-contamination. Users benefit from reduced handling costs and a lower number of incorrect analyses. Samples can be removed or media added via the pierceable membrane in the vessel lid.
