The powder samplers are manufactured, assembled and individually packaged under Class 7 (ISO) cleanroom conditions and subsequently sterilised with gamma radiation to meet the highest purity requirements. Individual packaging ensures that each sampler remains sterile and contamination-free until use. Single use eliminates the risk of cross-contamination between different samples or products. The PharmaDispo single-use powder sampler from Bürkle is a world first and the first multi-target-point sampler for single use that takes three separate target-point samples with a single sampling operation. The three separate sampling chambers of the PharmaDispo enable simultaneous sampling from different layers or zones. This allows the material composition across several layers to be examined differentially, which is particularly advantageous when a uniform sample does not sufficiently characterise the material. The collected target-point samples can be analysed individually or combined into a representative composite sample. Thanks to its well-designed and ergonomic design, the sampler fits comfortably in the hand and sampling can be performed with one hand.
