The powder samplers are assembled fully automatically under cleanroom conditions of class 7 (ISO) and individually packaged. The individual packaging ensures that each sampler remains free from contamination until use. Single-use operation eliminates the risk of cross-contamination between different samples or products. The PharmaDispo disposable powder sampler from Bürkle is a world first and the first multi-target-point single-use sampler that takes three separate target-point samples with a single sampling operation. The three separate sampling chambers of the PharmaDispo enable simultaneous sampling from different layers or zones. This allows the material composition across several layers to be examined in a differentiated manner, which is particularly advantageous when a uniform sample does not sufficiently characterise the material. The collected target-point samples can be analysed individually or combined into a representative composite sample. Thanks to its well-designed and ergonomic design, the sampler sits comfortably in the hand, and sampling can be performed with one hand. A sliding mechanism with an end stop facilitates opening and closing the sampler.
