DURAN® filter device, suction flask 1000 ml, receiver 250 ml The DURAN® filter device is made of high-quality borosilicate glass. In addition to the glass, the medium comes into chemical contact only with PTFE. Therefore, the filter device can be used for almost all chemicals to be filtered. The PTFE plate holder allows the use of glass filters with different porosities in addition to the slotted sieve plate. The available porosities of glass filters (10 ?m – 160 ?m) enable coarse and fine filtration as well as analytical filtration. The DURAN® filter device is suitable for the filtration and purification of aqueous and organic solutions, for particle contamination analysis or for the preparation of HPLC media. Special features and advantages: Almost universally applicable because the medium comes into contact only with glass and PTFE The graduated receiver facilitates dosing and evaluation The PTFE plate holder allows porous glass plates with different porosities to be used in addition to the slotted sieve plate. Easy and quick cleaning from both sides due to replaceable filter plates and PTFE adapters. The proven DURAN® suction flask and PTFE olive (suitable for hoses with ID 8 mm) enable safe work in the laboratory The replaceable plates and the PTFE adapter in combination with the clamp allow the porosities to be changed quickly or the filter used to be replaced quickly Easy-to-read scale with graduation marks for measuring the contents Fused-in and therefore permanently durable white print Application: Coarse and fine filtration, filtration under reduced pressure, preparation of HPLC media, residue analysis, analytical filtration, purification of aqueous and organic solutions, particle contamination analysis, examination of bacterial contamination, Uniform heating is recommended to avoid thermal stresses and resulting breakage. Glass filter devices with plate diameters of more than 20 mm should only be heated in ovens or sterilizers that have not been preheated. The heating or cooling rate must not exceed 8 °C/min. When filtering hot substances, observe the temperature change resistance and, if necessary, preheat the filter devices in a drying oven. Heat wet filter devices slowly to + 80 °C and dry them for one hour before increasing the temperature further. All components are also available as spare parts.
