The grinding cups and the cover hood are made of a transparent material, allowing grinding tests to be observed at any time. The mill can be used for hard (up to Mohs hardness 5), brittle and dry materials. It is particularly suitable for comminuting seeds (such as corn and wheat). Particular attention was paid to safety during the development of the mill. The mill only starts when the hood is closed. If no grinding cup is inserted into the drive, this is detected by the device and the device also does not start. Even an incorrectly closed grinding cup is detected by the drive and an error message appears (device does not start). The grinding cup cannot be opened during operation.
