The aluminium Multi-Sampler is significantly lighter than the stainless-steel version, which facilitates handling and transport of the zone sampler, particularly when used in field studies or in situations where weight is a consideration. The sampler can easily be autoclaved and flamed, minimising the risk of sample contamination. The sampler is very robust and offers the highest workmanship quality at an attractive price. This makes the aluminium all-layer zone sampler an economical option for budget-sensitive projects or use in less aggressive environments. The Multi-Sampler with separate collection chambers is a special sampler for simultaneously taking several target-point samples from different zones or layers of a wide variety of bulk materials. The zone sampler enables differentiated and representative sampling from different depths or areas within a bag, drum, silo, big bag or stockpile. The multi-zone sampler is particularly useful in situations where the composition of the material changes with depth or across the area and a single sample is not sufficient to characterise the entire material accurately. After collection, the target-point samples can be analysed individually to investigate variability within a material or between different material layers, or they can subsequently be mixed to obtain a composite sample representative of the entire material. This method ensures that the final sample is representative, i.e. reflects the average composition of the material, which is essential for correct analysis and quality control. The sampling lances can be used both vertically and horizontally, making the sampler a very versatile sampler for different containers. The design with minimal clearance between the inner and outer tubes reduces the risk of contamination and increases sampling accuracy. The removable tip also facilitates cleaning in order to effectively prevent cross-contamination between different sampling operations. Labelling the samplers with coloured caps facilitates identification and prevents mix-ups when several samplers are used for different bulk materials. Thanks to its robust construction, the Multi-Sampler promises a long service life even with regular use. The high workmanship quality guarantees reliability and precision during every sampling operation. Aluminium sampler for collecting samples at several target points Collecting several target-point samples from different layers Enables targeted analysis or a representative composite sample Versatile use for a wide range of bulk materials Robust and durable due to high-quality workmanship Lightweight and cost-effective The Multi-Sampler is used wherever it is necessary to collect samples from several zones or layers simultaneously in order to obtain a comprehensive analysis of the composition, quality, contaminants or inconsistencies of a material. For example, in the food industry to check the homogeneity and quality of bulk materials such as grain, maize, nuts, powders or granules; in the pharmaceutical industry for quality control of raw materials, intermediate and finished products; in the chemical industry to analyse chemicals and powders, to ensure mixture homogeneity and compliance with specifications; in construction, materials science, and research and development to investigate bulk materials such as sand, gravel and other materials. Turn the handle of the Multi-Sampler clockwise; the Multi-Sampler is now closed and can be inserted into the powder/granules. At the desired depth, turn the handle on the sampler counterclockwise. The collection chambers open and fill with sample. By turning the handle clockwise again, the sampler is closed again and can be removed from the powder/granules. Open the Multi-Sampler and empty the sample onto a suitably prepared surface or use an emptying device (see accessories).
