The multi sampler made of stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) with a PTFE core combines the advantages of a robust and inert stainless steel sampler with the lower weight of PTFE. The zone sampler is highly robust, has excellent chemical resistance and is also more cost-effective than a sampler made entirely of stainless steel. Thanks to the excellent sliding properties of PTFE, it is very easy to turn and is therefore particularly suitable for demanding applications. The even smaller gap between the chamber and tube also minimises particle deposits. The multi sampler with separate collection chambers is a special sampler for simultaneously taking several target-point samples from different zones or layers of various bulk materials. The zone sampler enables differentiated and representative sampling from different depths or areas within a bag, drum, silo, Big-Bag or pile. The multi-zone sampler is particularly useful in situations where the composition of the material changes with depth or across the area and a single sample is not sufficient to accurately characterise the entire material. After sampling, the target-point samples can be analysed individually to examine variability within a material or between different material layers, or they can subsequently be mixed to obtain a composite sample representative of the entire material. This method ensures that the final sample is representative, i.e. reflects the average composition of the material, which is essential for correct analysis and quality control. The sampling lances can be used both vertically and horizontally, making the sampler highly versatile for different containers. The design with minimal clearance between the inner and outer tubes reduces the risk of contamination and increases sampling accuracy. The removable tip also facilitates cleaning, effectively preventing cross-contamination between different sampling operations. Labelling the samplers with coloured caps facilitates identification and prevents mix-ups when several samplers are used for different bulk materials. Thanks to its robust design, the multi sampler promises a long service life even with regular use. The high quality of workmanship guarantees reliability and precision during every sampling operation. Sampler for taking samples at several target points Taking several target-point samples from different layers Enables targeted analysis or a representative composite sample Versatile use, for a wide range of bulk materials Robust and durable thanks to high-quality workmanship Lighter and more cost-effective than stainless steel Suitable for demanding applications The multi sampler is used wherever it is necessary to take samples from several zones or layers simultaneously in order to obtain a comprehensive analysis of the composition, quality, impurities or inconsistencies of a material. Examples include the food industry, for checking the homogeneity and quality of bulk materials such as grain, maize, nuts, powders or granulates; the pharmaceutical industry, for quality control of raw materials, intermediates and finished products; the chemical industry, for analysing chemicals and powders in order to ensure mixture homogeneity and compliance with specifications; construction; materials science; and research and development for examining bulk materials such as sand, gravel and other materials. Turn the handle of the multi sampler clockwise; the multi sampler is now closed and can be inserted into the powder/granulate. At the desired depth, turn the handle on the sampler counterclockwise. The collection chambers open and fill with the sample. By turning the handle clockwise again, the sampler is closed and can be removed from the powder/granulate. Open the multi sampler and empty the sample onto a suitably prepared surface or use an emptying device (see accessories).
