Retained samples must be protected against falsification at all times and must be clearly identifiable. Bottles with sealing lugs should therefore be secured with SampleSafe seals. The seals are made of stable polypropylene. The sequential 9-digit number makes the seals clearly identifiable. The seal cord has a diameter of 2 mm, which means that SampleSafe seals also fit through small lugs and slots. The seal band is securely fastened in the locking chamber by a metal insert made of stainless spring steel. The single-use pull mechanism provides additional protection against manipulation. By using a special ultrasonic process, it is not possible to forcibly open or manipulate the seal closure without leaving clear traces.
