DURAN® GLS 80® laboratory bottle, wide neck, brown, with screw cap and pouring ring, PP, blue, 1000 ml The DURAN® GLS 80® wide-neck laboratory bottles are formed from high-purity, clear USP / EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3, known for its excellent thermal behaviour and high resistance to chemical influences. The wider opening allows easier access to the bottle for larger samples or materials such as granules, powders or viscous liquids. The use of a fused, external brown coloration protects light-sensitive materials from the effects of photodegradation. Protection against ultraviolet light complies with the international USP/EP standards and remains effective throughout the entire service life of the bottle. The brown bottles feature an easy-to-read graduated volume scale and a permanently white enamel labelling area. The permanently printed batch identification (“Retrace Code”) on each bottle guarantees complete traceability of manufacture.
