With the testo 105 penetration thermometer, you can reliably measure the core temperature of semi-solid media: meat, cheese and jellies. The standard measuring tip included in the scope of delivery for immersion and penetration measurements easily penetrates such foodstuffs. With the optional measuring tip for frozen goods, you can also test frozen products against the prescribed temperature limits. The penetration thermometer is, of course, also suitable for measuring the temperature of liquid media. In this case, the additionally available long measuring tip (200 mm) is also very useful. Practical one-handed operation, compact size and the illuminated display make everyday work easier. An acoustic and visual alarm reliably warns of falling below or exceeding the freely adjustable limit values. A belt and wall holder ensures safe storage, including when on the move: the penetration thermometer is always within reach. Thanks to its water-repellent surface, the penetration thermometer can also be cleaned under running water – particularly hygienically in accordance with protection class IP65. Like all Testo temperature measuring instruments for the food sector, the testo 105 has been tested in accordance with EN 13485 and certified by HACCP International. Depending on the measuring tip, the testo 105 penetration thermometer is suitable for professional use in food production, incoming goods inspection, catering, large kitchens, cold stores and supermarkets.
