Centrifugation is one of these working methods and uses the concept of inertia. A mixture of substances to be separated is filled into centrifuge glasses, placed in a centrifuge and set into rotation. Due to the high rotational speed, heavier particles are pushed outward more quickly and farther than lighter ones. This achieves separation of substances based on the mass or density of the individual components.
