DURAN® storage bottle, narrow neck, brown, NS 14/15, with glass stopper, 50 ml The classic reagent bottles, which can be closed with a stopper, are formed from DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 Type 1 glass and are suitable for storing liquid and solid chemicals as well as reagents. The bottles have a narrow, conical ground joint and comply with ISO 4796-2. The narrow neck is suitable for liquids, and the angle of the bottle shoulders ensures that the contents can be poured out easily. The glass stopper provides excellent sealing, protecting the contents against evaporation, oxidation and contamination. The labelling area and the Retrace Code for traceability of production are printed in durable white enamel. The brown colouring protects light-sensitive materials against the effects of photodegradation. Protection against ultraviolet light complies with the international USP/EP standards and remains effective over the entire service life of the bottle.
