Refractive index measurement for laboratories and industry The KERN ORA-P series models are universal, maintenance-free analog hand refractometers The handy and robust design enables simple, efficient and long-term everyday use The need for manual conversion is avoided by several selectable scales, eliminating application errors These scales are specially developed, precisely calculated and checked. They are also characterised by very thin and clear lines The optical system and prism cover are made of special materials that enable low-tolerance measurements All models are equipped with an eyepiece with a simple and smooth adjustment option for different visual acuities Automatic temperature compensation (''ATC'') enables precise measurements at different ambient temperatures (10 °C – 30 °C) Included in delivery: - Storage box - Calibration solution - Pipette - Screwdriver - Cleaning cloth Further accessories are optionally available This model is particularly suitable for measuring urine specific gravity (density), serum content (serum protein in urine) and refractive index.
