- Refractive index measurement for laboratories and industry The KERN ORA-H series models are universal, maintenance-free analogue hand refractometers The handy and robust design enables simple, efficient and long-lasting everyday use The need for manual conversion is avoided by several selectable scales, eliminating application errors These scales are specially developed, precisely calculated and checked.
- They are also characterised by very thin and clear lines The optical system and prism cover are made of special materials that enable low-tolerance measurements All models are equipped with an eyepiece with a simple and smooth adjustment option for different eyesight strengths The automatic temperature compensation (''ATC'') enables exact measurements at different ambient temperatures (10 °C – 30 °C) Included in delivery: - Storage box - Calibration block - Contact liquid - Pipette - Screwdriver - Cleaning cloth Further accessories are optionally available This model is particularly suitable for measuring the Brix value, the water content in honey and the Baumé degree (°Bé) for determining the relative density of liquids.
