Refractive index measurement for laboratories and industry The models of the KERN ORA-S series are universal, maintenance-free analogue hand refractometers The handy and robust design enables simple, efficient and long-lasting everyday use The manual conversion effort is avoided by several selectable scales, which eliminates application errors These scales are specially developed, precisely calculated and checked. They are also characterised by very thin and clear lines The optical system and the prism cover are made of special materials that enable low-tolerance measurements All models are equipped with an eyepiece with a simple and smooth adjustment option for different visual acuities Automatic temperature compensation (''ATC'') enables exact measurements at different ambient temperatures (10 °C – 30 °C) Included in delivery: - Storage box - Calibration solution - Pipette - Screwdriver - Cleaning cloth Further accessories are optionally available This model is particularly suitable for measuring and dosing the NaCl (salt) content in water.
