Established and valued on the market for over 70 years, the pumps are particularly known for their ease of use in daily operation. The drum and container pumps work according to the air overpressure principle. Only the delivery tubes come into contact with the liquid, ensuring broad chemical resistance. Depending on the version, the tubes are made of PE, PP, PVDF or stainless steel. This allows a wide range of liquids to be filled quickly and easily. To ensure proper operation, the pumps must be mounted with a tight seal on an airtight container. Repeatedly operating the pump ball creates overpressure in the container, which conveys the liquid out of the container through the delivery tube. The liquid flow is pulsation-free and uniform and can be stopped immediately without afterflow using the vent valve. The OTAL® hand and foot pumps are extremely robust, durable and of excellent quality. They can be used to transfer and fill acids, alkalis and aqueous solutions simply and cost-effectively from larger containers into smaller ones. The universal stopper allows use with all standard containers; determining a thread and a threaded connection are not required. The telescopic dip tube is height-adjustable and can be shortened if required. This ensures optimum residual emptying, allowing filling from both 220-litre drums and smaller canisters. If necessary, adjust the universal stopper to the opening diameter of the container. Fully extend the telescopic riser tube. Insert the riser tube and universal stopper into the container and press in to seal. Close the stop valve. Position the outlet bend above the filling container. Operate the pump ball and build up overpressure. Liquid now flows. To end the filling process, open the stop valve and release the overpressure. After filling, turn the outlet bend with the opening facing upwards to prevent liquid from continuing to drip.
