The SiloPicker is a targeted-point sampler for sampling free-flowing bulk materials directly from silos and other storage containers. The SiloPicker simplifies sampling and enables the efficient removal of targeted-point samples from specific depths or layers. A special mechanism opens the closure of the collection chamber only when the desired depth has been reached and the sampler is pulled back again. In this way, targeted samples can be taken for analysis or several samples can be collected to produce a representative mixed sample. The design of the sampler enables easy penetration into the bulk material and removal of the desired sample without disturbing the surrounding material. However, the possible sampling depth is influenced by the density of the bulk material. For easy cleaning, the SiloPicker can be disassembled into its individual parts. Targeted-point sampler for bulk material sampling from silos Removal of a targeted-point sample at the desired depth Targeted-point sample or mixed sample possible Easy to disassemble for optimum hygiene and easy cleaning Collection chamber can be unscrewed and emptied directly The SiloPicker is used to check the consistency and quality of bulk materials to ensure that they comply with the specified standards, e.g. for monitoring storage to detect spoilage, contamination or other quality losses at an early stage, for taking samples for analysis purposes in order to examine the properties of bulk materials, in agriculture for taking samples of grain, feed and other agricultural products directly from silos, and in the food or chemical industry for taking samples of chemical powders and granules for quality and safety checks. Immerse the sampler in the medium to be sampled to the desired depth. The closure sleeve closes the filling opening during this process. At the desired depth, pull the sampler back by approx. 10 cm. This causes the closure sleeve to open the filling opening. Move the sampler slightly up and down. This fills the sample container with the medium being sampled. Pull the sampler out of the medium. Unscrew the lower part of the sample container and empty the sample into a suitable collection vessel.
