Variable zones within the inner tube can be individually adjusted using movable PTFE separators to prevent sample mixing and enable exact separation of different layers or areas. The sampling lance is particularly suitable for taking large sample volumes from different layers without material mixing. Two additional handles enable safe insertion, fixing and turning in the material, while the device’s easy disassembly facilitates thorough cleaning. In food production, samples of compacted or moist powders are frequently required. In the pharmaceutical industry, precise sampling of pharmaceutical powders and granules, which often tend to clump, is of crucial importance. Quality control and research frequently require samples of chemical powders and granules that do not flow freely. For the analysis of fertilisers or soil improvers that may not be free-flowing, the all-layer sampler offers an efficient sampling solution. Pull out the inner tube and unscrew the plug at the tip. Insert the desired number of separators into the inner tube and slide them into the desired position. Reinsert the inner tube and tighten the plug. Turn the upper handle of the sampling lance clockwise. The sampler is closed and can be inserted into the medium to be sampled. When the desired depth has been reached, turn the upper handle of the sampling lance counterclockwise. Turn the sampler slightly. The sample is conveyed through the scraping edge into the sample chamber. Turn the upper handle of the sampling lance clockwise. The collector is closed and can be removed from the powder/granules. Free-flowing samples can be emptied through the open inner tube into a suitable collection vessel.
