DURAN® GLS 80® wide-neck laboratory bottle, brown, with screw cap and pouring ring, PP, blue, 20000 ml The DURAN® GLS 80® wide-neck laboratory bottles are made of high-purity, clear USP / EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3, which is known for its excellent thermal behaviour and high resistance to chemical influences. The wider opening enables easier bottle access for larger samples or materials such as granulates, powders or viscous liquids. The use of fused-on, external brown colouring protects light-sensitive materials from the effects of photodegradation. Protection against ultraviolet light complies with international USP/EP standards and remains effective throughout the bottle's entire service life. The brown bottles feature an easy-to-read graduated volume scale and a permanently white enamel labelling area. The permanently printed batch identification (“Retrace Code”) on each bottle guarantees complete traceability of production. The brown DURAN® GLS 80® wide-neck laboratory bottles are supplied completely with or without the familiar blue polypropylene screw cap and drip-free pouring ring for use up to 140 °C. All components are fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C.
