The OTAL® foot pump with delivery tubes made of PVDF is a reliable pump with high chemical resistance. Due to the special properties of PVDF, the foot pump is also resistant to chlorine bleach, among other substances. PVDF offers even better resistance to various acids and alkalis than other materials such as PP. The pump outlet can be turned upwards to prevent dripping. The OTAL® PVDF foot pump is easy to operate and can fill liquids quickly and efficiently. It is a cost-effective and practical solution for many applications. OTAL® hand and foot pumps are compact universal pumps for transferring and decanting liquids from containers and drums. Established and valued on the market for over 70 years, the pumps are particularly known for their ease of use in daily operation. The drum and container pumps operate according to the air-pressure principle. Only the delivery tubes come into contact with the liquid, ensuring broad chemical resistance. Depending on the version, the tubes are made of PE, PP, PVDF or stainless steel. This allows a wide variety of liquids to be filled quickly and easily. To ensure proper operation, the pumps must be mounted with a tight seal on an airtight container. Repeatedly actuating the pump bulb creates excess pressure in the container, which conveys the liquid out of the container through the delivery tube. The liquid flow is pulsation-free and even and can be stopped immediately without continued flow via the vent valve. The OTAL® hand and foot pumps are extremely robust, durable and of excellent quality. They allow acids, alkalis and aqueous solutions to be transferred and decanted simply and cost-effectively from larger containers into smaller ones. The universal stopper enables use with all common containers; determining a thread and a threaded connection are not required. The telescopic dip tube is height-adjustable and can be shortened if required. This ensures optimum residual emptying, allowing filling from both 220-litre drums and smaller canisters. The OTAL® hand and foot pumps are a practical and reliable solution for transferring and decanting liquids. Their high quality, universal usability and ease of operation make them a suitable choice for daily use. The compact design and universal usability make the pumps a practical solution for transferring and decanting small quantities of water, oils, acids, alkalis and liquid foodstuffs up to a viscosity of approx. 500 mPas. Foot pump specially for acids and alkalis Compact universal pump with easy operation Universal stopper enables use with all common containers Universal foot pump specially for acids and alkalis Foot-operated, leaving both hands free for filling The OTAL® foot pump with delivery tubes made of PVDF is resistant to a wide range of chemicals and offers high chemical resistance. Therefore, the OTAL PVDF pump is often used in demanding environments, such as the chemical industry, laboratories and other areas requiring the handling of corrosive or aggressive media. If required, adjust the universal stopper to the opening diameter of the container. Fully extend the telescopic riser tube. Insert the riser tube and universal stopper into the container and press it in to form a seal. Close the stop valve. Position the outlet bend above the filling container. Operate the pump bulb and build up excess pressure. Liquid now flows. To end the filling process, open the stop valve and release the excess pressure. After filling, turn the outlet bend with the opening facing upwards to prevent liquid from continuing to drip.
