Delivery area
We deliver to businesses, public institutions, laboratories, universities, research institutions and other commercial customers.
Delivery within Germany and to other countries is available where the destination country is offered during checkout or has been individually agreed with us. International deliveries may be subject to additional shipping charges, customs duties, taxes or import fees.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs depend in particular on:
- the delivery address and destination country
- the weight and dimensions of the shipment
- the quantity and type of products ordered
- any required freight, refrigerated or dangerous-goods transport
- special packaging or delivery requirements.
Where shipping costs can be calculated automatically, they will be displayed before the order is submitted.
If automatic calculation is not possible due to the type of product, scope of delivery or special transport requirements, you will receive an individual quotation or separate information about the shipping costs before a contract is concluded.
Delivery times and availability
Delivery times and availability depend on the product, manufacturer, order volume and delivery location.
Information shown on product pages is provided as initial guidance. The binding delivery time will be stated in our order confirmation. For products available on request, we will check the price, delivery time and availability individually.
Where advance payment has been agreed, the delivery period will not begin until full payment has been received. If we require technical information, approvals or other assistance from the customer, the delivery period will begin only after all required information has been provided.
Partial deliveries
Partial deliveries may be made where they are reasonable for the customer. Additional shipping costs will be charged only where they have been expressly agreed in advance.
Freight, dangerous goods and special shipping
Large, heavy, sensitive, temperature-controlled or dangerous products may require special packaging and transport arrangements.
In such cases, we will agree the shipping method, costs, delivery date and any necessary requirements at the delivery location individually with you.
Inspection upon delivery
Please inspect the delivery immediately upon receipt for:
- visible transport damage
- missing or incorrect products
- damaged packaging
- discrepancies from the delivery documents.
Where possible, visible transport damage should be recorded on the consignment note or proof of delivery and reported to us immediately with photographs. Please retain the packaging until the matter has been resolved.
These instructions do not limit your statutory or contractual rights.
Delivery delays
If a confirmed delivery is delayed, we will inform you as early as possible. International deliveries may be subject to additional transit time due to customs clearance or official inspections.
